Heritage Society-Docent Camp
        and Heritage Trail Orientation

            Starting off as a docent is not easy. All the
        skills and knowledge required might seem
        daunting to many students. The best way to
        ease the learning curve is to have friends that
        you can learn from. The Orientation Day held
             th
        on 14  October provides a good
        starting point for new docents.
        Through team building activities,
        they learn the basic qualities of
        a docent. They get to meet their
        fellow docents and committee
        members as well.
            Docents who perform actively
        throughout the school year will be
        admitted to the Docent Leadership
        Training Programme held during
        the summer holiday, which consists
        of a workshop and a leadership
        training camp. This programme is
        a truly remarkable experience for
        both participants and committee
        members.
            May all docents work hard in
        this coming year!
