Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most important celebration in
China. It usually takes place in late January or early February and is a special time for families
         to come together.
During Chinese New Year, people enjoy many exciting traditions. We clean our homes
to sweep away bad luck from the past year. We decorate doors with red couplets and paper-
cuts for good fortune. At night, we watch beautiful fireworks light up the sky. On New Year's
Eve, families share a big dinner with dishes like dumplings, fish, and sweet rice cakes, each
         symbolizing good luck and happiness.

This festival is very meaningful to Chinese people because it celebrates family, love, and
hope for the new year. I especially love Chinese New Year because I receive red envelopes
with money and play with my cousins.

Chinese New Year is a wonderful festival full of joy and tradition. I believe everyone would
         enjoy celebrating it with us!
