Netherlands Study Tour

Last summer holiday, we visited a pasture run by a
household in the Netherlands. We learned a lot about
the operation of dairy industry.

In the pasture, we took part in Fierljeppen and Cow
Hugging. Fierljeppen is a national sport of the Frisian
people in the Dutch province of Friesland. Due to the
fact that the Netherlands is under sea-level, it has many
waterways. People play Fierljeppen to get around the
waterways easily. Before we play Fierljeppen, we had
to practise the basic techniques first. When we tried to
play Fierljeppen, we overcome the difficulties bravely.
This experience was the most memorable experience in
our 12-day trip.
