Develop digital literacy
IT Education
In 2014-15, the Financial Secretary proposed to incorporate enrichment programmes in
secondary schools which are outstanding in IT education to cultivate young IT professionals
and even entrepreneurs to meet the developmental needs of a digital society. Being one
of the eight selected secondary schools (partner schools) in the Enriched IT Class (EITC) Blooming in grace
Programme run by The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer in 2015/16 school
year, a total of $75 million has been allocated on a pilot basis to implement the Enriched IT
Programmes in our school.
Since 2015/16, we have been providing intensive IT training for students who are interested in IT.
Objectives
● To develop students’ higher-order thinking skills
● To strengthen students’ problem solving skills and logical reasoning
● To integrate students’ know-hows with business requirements
