Speech Festival
Last year, the English Department rolled out 91 student entries. It turned out to be
such a success that this year we decided to get even more ambitious with 151 students!
With COVID restrictions and social distancing, students needed to get video
recorded and practise projecting their voices even more. Watching videos of the NETs
really allowed the students to practise on their own on their iPads. They also trained
with the English teachers and NETs to understand the poems and deliver them
effectively.
We are very proud that many of our students were able to
achieve many Certificates of Merit and one student even won
third place!
