5B Ng Pak Ching
I have joined the Brownies since Primary One. This year is my fifth year in
the team. There are a lot of interesting activities, such as making handcrafts,
gaining Interest Badges and sharing with friends.
My favourite activity must be making handcrafts. I have made a lot of
handcrafts, such as making a pencil case with a soda can, Easter eggs
and fluffy dolls. The most memorable thing is participating in the flag-
selling activity. Even though I was very tired after that activity, it was still
very meaningful since the money I raised could help many people.
I learnt interpersonal and communication skills in the Brownies. For
instance, I am willing to help others. I enjoy being a member of the
Brownies very much.

5D Lee Hey Yue
I have been a member of the Brownies since
Primary One. I made friends from various levels. I
also learnt many practical skills and gained new
knowledge throughout the years. However, the
training mode changed after the COVID-19
pandemic.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we had face-
to-face gathering every week. We created
much artwork at school. We also played games at various
festivals, such as the flying-egg game during Easter. It was
interesting and I loved it.
I gained Interest Badges from both the school and the Hong
Kong Girl Guides Association during summer holidays. I
also made friends from other schools.
After the COVID-19 outbreak, face-to-face gatherings had
been suspended for a long period of time. We started to
have online gatherings in April. I have fewer chances to
learn new knowledge and skills. Moreover, I have fewer
chances to gain Interest Badges.
I want to meet other members face-to-face again because
it is so fun. I want to become a Super Brownie in the future.
I am proud of being a member of the Brownies!
