I have joined the Rugby Team for three years. I learnt a lot from
playing rugby. The most important one is teamwork. Three years
ago, our team joined an unforgettable rugby tournament. On
the way to the competition venue, it suddenly rained heavily
and it was freezing cold. Even though the weather was
very bad, we didn’t give up. My teammates and I joined the
competition and tried our best.
This year was quite different from the previous years. There
has been the COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong and all
after-school activities were cancelled. I was really shocked
and disappointed. Later on, we started our online rugby team
training without seeing each other face-to-face.
Though we didn’t have any competitions and face-to-face lessons this year, I
still wanted to say thank you to a few people. First, I would like to thank Miss
Yu for encouraging us. I would like to thank our coach, Mr Kam, for teaching
us so many skills. I was thankful to join the Rugby Team and I was proud of
myself and my teammates.
