a fall – always be humble

and be your best self.”

As one of the key members and a valuable player of the
WFJLPS table tennis team, Vicky has won the female
team title with her beloved teammates three years
in a row. The training and practice in the table tennis
team not only helped her understand the importance of
teamwork, persistence and hard work, it had also taught
her an important lesson of being humble. Vicky recalled
the failure in one of her matches, “I underestimated my
opponent – I thought I could win easily and I did not
prepare well! At the end I lost in the first game and could
not even make it to second round.”

“It was not fun losing but I am glad I am able to learn
from my failure. I shall always treasure every opportunity
with respect and be my best self in every aspect!”
