Foreword

It has been yet another successful year in which students have managed
to compile a vast quantity of great writing in prose and fiction. Students have
continued to challenge themselves producing ever more accomplished pieces of
writing. Creative writing also allows students the opportunity to voice their opinions
and show their creativity. Please take the time to peruse the variety of great student
written works at your own leisure. The English teachers have taken the time to
select the most original and creative student work for your reading enjoyment. The
written works come from all age ranges and abilities from Form 1 to Form 6.
The amount of excellent written work submitted by students continuously
increases year by year. Teachers are challenged with the difficult task of choosing
only a select few for your enjoyment in this collection.
We hope that you enjoy reading this collection of the best student writing that
Helen Liang Memorial Secondary School has to offer.
