Singin’ in the Rain Jr. Synopsis

Singin’ in the Rain is one of the greatest musicals of all time! You will not be able to
resist tapping your toes and singing along to this sensational musical production.

Set in the silent movies industry in 1927 Hollywood, the two stars, Don Lockwood
and Lina Lamont, are a romantic pair. Behind the scenes, things are not always as
they appear on the big screen! Lina mistakes the on-screen romance for real love
despite Don’s protests. Meanwhile, Lina’s squeaky voice might be the end of her
career in “talking pictures”. Luckily, a talented young actress, Kathy Selden, does the
talking and singing for Lina.

Will the audience find out the truth? Will Kathy’s talent be known? Will a romantic
relationship arise? Singin’ in the Rain is a perfect theatre production with an
abundance of talent ready to shine.
