Students’ Union

Established in 1992, the Students’ Union is an independent self-run student body elected by
polling. The operation of the Students’ Union is supervised by the Students’ Council which
is made up of representatives from all classes. In the past 26 years, the Students’ Union has
               gone from strength to strength.

From the initial task of providing welfare services to students, the Students’ Union has
evolved into a student body that aims to cultivate students’ interest in community services,
foster a sense of unity among students and help develop a unique school culture. Before the
commencement of the school year, the Chairperson and committee members of the Students’
Union hold meetings with the Principal, Vice-Principals and heads of functional groups in
school so as to have a clear understanding of the school’s major concerns of the year. The
Students’ Union will then plan and formulate activities that are in line with school policies.

The Students’ Union plays a crucial role in acting as an intermediary between the school
and students. As always, students’ opinions are collected through various channels by the
Students’ Union and then presented to the school in a way to enhance the efficiency and
effectiveness of school policies. On the other hand, the Students’ Union strives to enable
students to have a better understanding of school policies.

YEARS OF EXCELLENCE A wide range of activities have been organized by the Students’ Union in school. It has also

actively strengthened its linkage with other schools in the district and extended its activities
               beyond the campus.
