As a deer pants for flowing streams

6. In September 2018, students belonged to the
Campus Beauty Group attended a mural painting 7
workshop that taught them how to upscale a
simple pencil drawing. As a result, the mural
painting “As a deer pants for flowing streams”
was placed on the wall outside the PA room on
the 2 floor.

7-9. Through the process of drawing, scaling-up,
spraying the background and painting the images,
students enhanced their artistic talents and had an
enjoyable time making friends as well.
10-11. Each step was very important and had to be 9
completed carefully. The painting process not
only developed student’s mural painting skills but
their collaboration skills too.
12. The bible theme mural “As a deer pants for
flowing streams” was completed at the end of 6
November 2018. From the book of Psalm, in
which a deer longs for water to sustain its life,
similarly, we are thirsty for God’s words; we seek 8
God’s words to enjoy a spiritual connection with
Him. For our students, it shows them that God
is all around and offers hope and love when they
walk with Him.
13. Through the implementation of the Campus
Beauty campaign, our school’s Design and
Decoration Team has increased our student’s sense
of belonging and value for their surroundings.
The murals use visual imagination to create a
campus filled with truthfulness, compassion and
beauty which in turn cultivates positive values
and thankfulness in each individual. 13 14
