                          Hong Kong Street Food

I am going to introduce two kinds of unique street food in Hong Kong. First, my favourite
one is the Faux Shark Fin Soup. It is a very popular Hong Kong-style soup, and don’t worry, it is
not made with real shark fins but rice noodles as faux shark fins.
The other ingredients include shredded pork and sliced mushroom. It does look like real
shark fin and many people in Hong Kong like this simple and delicious soup.
The second street food is curry fish balls. They are yellowish in colour. They are usually
sold at food stalls with five to seven balls on a bamboo skewer. The chefs usually boil them in
a spicy curry sauce. Surprisingly, every street stall creates its own recipe of curry satay sauce
to differentiate them from other sellers. Fish balls are one of the city’s most sought-after and
            representative street foods.
It seems that street food is attractive and irresistible, isn’t it? In fact, there are pros and cons
to eating street food. The pros are: they are convenient, cheap and mouthwatering. Everyone
can easily buy this scrumptious street food and it doesn’t cost you much. On the other hand, the
cons are: they are unhealthy, unhygienic and unnatural. They are usually oily, fatty; and artificial
colours and flavours are often added.
