Speech Day and Prize-giving Ceremony
The Speech Day and Prize-giving Ceremony was held
on Friday 10 November 2017. The College had the pleasure
of having Mr Woo Kwok-Hing, Former Vice-President of
the Court of Appeal of the High Court of the HKSAR, as our
Guest of Honour. He enlightened the audience with a speech
full of wisdom about righteousness, discernment and fruitful
living.
This year, the College is delighted to have the first
batch of 128 students graduating from our dual programme,
the HKDSE cum IBDP. Many of the DSE and IB students Mr Woo presenting
received offers from Cambridge University, the London Mr Woo presenting prizes to winners prizes to winners
School of Economics, Imperial College London, University
College London, University of St Andrews, University of
Southern California, University of British Columbia and
University of New South Wales. Locally, students have
enrolled in Medicine,
Biomedical and Health
Sciences, Engineering,
Physiotherapy, Pharmacy,
Business, Law, Economics,
Education and Architecture. Ms Carol Yang, Principal of the Dr Wai, Principal of the
College, encouraging graduates Preparatory School, giving her
Musical Presentation by College Orchestra to pursue excellence report
SSC Family Day

A "St Stephen's College Family Day" was held on Saturday January 20, 2018. It was a
wonderful opportunity for former students and staff to return to their alma mater and reconnect
with classmates, friends, teammates, teachers and coaches. The valuable participation from
current parents and students helped strengthen the bonds of our SSC Family and also created a
positive and friendly atmosphere to bridge the past with the present. The SSC Family Day was a
day to reconnect with old acquaintances and also to meet new SSC family members.

It was warm and pleasant which was
perfect for the SSC Family day. I was
assigned to help at the SSC café. After setting
up at the venue, an alumnus kindly invited
my friend and I to look after the snack kiosk. We sold snacks siu-mai, fishballs,
chicken wings and Chinese tea eggs. Before the event ended, some snacks had
already sold out. The remaining food was given to the school caretakers. I had a
lot of fun at this meaningful event!
