          ISSFHK Football U12

The U12 Boys Football team players got their first taste of ISSFHK Football this year.
With a team combined between Primary and Secondary students, the team was able to
step up against older and more experienced players without looking out of place. They
were competitive in every match they played and only missed out on qualifying for the
playoffs due to goal difference. This team has a bright future ahead.

          ISSFHK Football U14

The U14 Boys Football team had a good season this year. They produced outstanding
performances throughout the competition and were able to finish top of the
          Hong Kong Island qualifier, going
through to the playoffs. In the playoff
          semifinals however, they came up
against a difficult team in the form of
          CAIS and unfortunately were unable
to come away with the win. The team
picked themselves back up for the
Third and Fourth place medal match
though, and were able to beat Hong
          Kong International School to take
          home the Bronze medal.

          HKSSF Football

The boys HKSSF Football had some highs and some unfortunate lows. A Grade and B
Grade both had performances producing some excellent Football but unfortunately
were unable to qualify for the knockout stages
of the competition. The C Grade team however
were successful in finishing second within their
group and qualified for the Quarter Final stage
of the competition. With their captain, Sohgo
Ichikawa, injured and unable to play, the team put
in an admirable performance with older members
of the team such as Nicholas Chan and Angus
Cheung, standing out. Unfortunately the game
finished with a draw and moved into penalties. C
Grades season came to an end with an unsuccessful
penalty shootout. The boys should be proud of
          their efforts nonetheless.
