Battle of the Sciences

To make learning in Science more fun-filled, the
Science Team started the Battle of Science as a
yearly house competition in 2012. This year, on
th
March 14 2018, we had our sixth battle. There
were many eager participants from Years 7 to 13
taking part in the event in their house teams. There
were team rounds as well as audience rounds and
to further maximise student participation, the
participants’ rounds were divided into Physics,
Chemistry and Biology and each round had
different team members focusing on one of the
three Sciences.
It was a competitive event and this year Blue
House were the victors in the 2017-18 Battle of
Sciences. The rolling trophy that was introduced in
2012 will now wear the proud colour of Blue House
until next year’s hard-fought battle.
