as boyish and not feminine enough. Yet, from the
moment I became a member of the girls’ basketball
team, I have had no regret joining it. In the team, I
have gained unforgettable experience and developed
lasting friendship.
The girls’ basketball team is a family. In our
team, you will be praised if you make a good play.
During hard times we also stand as one and have
faith in each other. Thanks to the encouragement and
acceptance from my teammates, I, once a shy person
with low self-esteem, am now confident that I can
rise to any upcoming challenges. More importantly,
I know that my teammates always stand by me no

to be the leader, it means that we believe in you
and you should believe in yourself too.’ ‘You are
not alone.’ These warm-hearted encouragements

you to all of them for their invaluable support
