Foreword
by the Headteacher
The 2017/18 academic year marked another rewarding year for
DBSPD. The Mini-Steps 2018 is the publication which chronicles
the achievements of our students in various areas of their
undertakings.
Setting their achievements aside, DBSPD encourages
creative minds and supports students to develop an
avid interest in writing. This publication includes
a collection of works in English, Chinese and
French by our budding writers. You might find
it interesting to read our students’ writing style
which reflects their unique boyish and to a certain
extent impish charm!
The editorial work involved in publishing the Mini-Steps is exceedingly
demanding. I would like to extend my appreciation to all members of
the School Magazine Working Committee for their dedication and hard
work. In addition, I wish to thank Mrs. Grace Ko, the Chairperson of
the Committee, for her fine leadership in guiding her team, without
which this publication would not have been possible.
I am proud to share with you the accomplishments of our boys this
year and their happy school life in DBSPD. I am sure you will enjoy
reading our school magazine, the Mini-Steps 2018!
