As well as a campus surrounded by fl owers and
trees, we strive to build a green environment in our school. A variety

of plants are grown in our campus greenhouse. Students take responsibility
caring for the plants during recess and lunch break. A variety of crops are also planted
throughout the year. Students will experience the cycle of growth through a small school garden
with fi ve fi elds which has been built in the grounds recently. Our environmental group has trained

guides who introduce plants to their schoolmates at lunch time to promote understanding of nature.

To raise students’ awareness on environmental protection, we must allow them to experience green
living. Every year, our school holds a variety of environmental activities, such as Earth Hour, Green Creative
Design Competition, Save Food Greeners Action, ‘Reduce, Recycle and Reuse Campaign’ and Environmentally-

friendly New Year Ornament Decorations. Through participating in various environmental protection activities,
students are more concerned about the problem of limited resources of the earth and will have a greater sense of
care and responsibility for the environment.
