Year 8 Trip - China
Day 1
Some people started the day off by going to
school and we took the bus to the airport. At
the airport we all met up and started taking
group pictures. Then we went on the airplane
to Hangzhou. We then took more pictures
then we went shopping at He Fang street.
Day 2
We went to a Pu Yan Primary school (local
school) and right after we arrived they greeted
us with a dance. After we had the worst
Chinese Poetry class, we had an unusual lunch,
but enjoyed birthday cake afterwards. Thank
god it was someone’s birthday so we got to eat
cakes.
Day 3
We went to Wuzhen, which is split into the
South and the West to two small history
museums. First we went to the South side, the
place was filled with old buildings and there
were still villagers living there. Then we went to
the West side; that part of the village appeared
more more civilized than the South, there were
more shops and temples, and many of us took
pictures to preserve the memories .
Day 4
We went to Xiao Xing East Lake. The view
was really nice there because the shape of
the rocks looked so cool and the water was
as clear as a mirror. We had an early birthday
celebration for Sophia, Kurtis and Carsten.
Day 5
We woke up early and went to one of the
most beautiful lakes in China, West Lake.
Everyone were so excited to go on the boats
but unfortunately they didn’t give us life jackets
so we weren’t able to go on them. Instead
we walked around the park that surrounds
about a quarter of the lake. Sadly this fun and
enjoyable week had come to an end. We said
goodbye to our tourist guide and we arrived
back to Hong Kong around 6pm.
