Art In Art and Design, it has been a year full creativity and
productivity. Students have learned a number of new
techniques and used them to express their ideas creatively
through different media. It is always a pleasure to see the
Year 7 Art excitement of students in the process of creating their art.
Well done all of you!

This year year 7 have explored
colour through collage, studied
the art of African masks and
experimented with line and
tone while drawing cityscapes.
They have produced wonderful
work, which allowed them to
express themselves and reflect
upon the experience.

Year 8 Art

Year 8 challenged themselves this
year while learning about Cubism
and Abstract Expressionism.
They produced original pieces of
modern art and also developed
their observational skills through
detailed studies of natural
forms using graphite, ink and
watercolour.
