Activities

To open their eyes in Mathematics, students
are encouraged to join different competitions.
For example, they had The Hong Kong Youth
Mathematical High Achievers Selection Contest,
Pui Ching Invitational Mathematics Competition,
Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad, The Hong Kong
Mathematics Creative Problem-Solving Competition
for Secondary Schools, Twenty-four Competition for
Hong Kong Gifted and Talent, The Huaxia Cup of
China Mathematics Olympiad Invitational Competition
and the Asia International Mathematics Olympiad
Open.

Inside school, different activities were launched to arouse student’s interest in learning Mathematics. For
example, Math Fun Day was arranged for S.1 and S.2 students. Games such as Twenty-four, Wisdom Lock,
Logic Matches, Block Building, Brain War, Rummikub, Blokus and Hanoi Tower were introduced. Besides, Math
Competition was launched during school assembly. Different kinds of questions such as logic, geometry, algebra
and the history of Math were included through the interactive electronic platform that let students participate more
actively. Furthermore, the Mathematics Club organizes different activities every year. Nonogram and Rummikub
competitions are our students’ favourable events which enhance their logical thinking skills.
