外籍交流生 Our Exchange Students

Broadening our students’ horizons and acquainting them with foreign cultures has always been one of the
goals of Leung Sing Tak College. With this view in mind, our school hosted five exchange students from 2015-
2020 until the Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to the program. Each of these students studied in Secondary 4 in our
school for one academic year. Our own students’ families had hosted them in their homes. The exchange students
attended lessons and participated in extra-curricular activities such as the Dance Club and the Athletics Team, fully
integrated into the local school life. They also ran short language teaching sessions in the morning assemblies,
delivered presentations to introduce their countries and cultures, and organized cooking workshops. This type
of intercultural exchange offers opportunities of international learning and knowledge which propels both the
exchange students and our own towards acceptance and understanding of different cultural perspectives, on top of
opportunities of language acquisition and practice.
