立志修讀香港科技大學工程系— 這個決定與母校的關係密切。在母校的搖籃裏，我到世
界各地交流的機會指不勝屈，見聞日漸增廣。以創意思維世界賽為例，比賽讓我學習到更
多STEM的知識、戲劇表演技巧……從而了解自己的專長，更對工程產生了興趣，繼而萌
生入讀工程系的念頭。除此之外，我曾到內地、新加坡、美國、英國等地交流，體味不同
生活、認識不同國籍的朋友，並加深了對各地文化的認識，擴闊了我的眼界，充實自我。

現在的我十分享受大學生活，更積極擔任不同類型學生組織的幹事，這實在有賴於母校為我打
好的基石。盼望我能應用所學、盡展潛能、回饋社會。

The decision to pursue a degree in engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and
Technology is closely linked to my alma mater. In the cradle of my alma mater, I have had
the opportunity to travel around the world and my knowledge is increasing day by day. For
example, I learned more about STEM, theatre and performance skills by joining the Odyssey
of the Mind Competition. It also helped me understand what I am good at and develop an
interest in engineering, which led to the idea of studying engineering. I have travelled to the
Mainland, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom for exchanges to experience
different lives, meet people from other countries, deepen my understanding of different
cultures, broaden my horizons and enrich myself.

I am now enjoying my university life and actively involved in various student organizations. I
hope that I can apply what I have learned, realize my potential and give back to the community.

在青年會書院，我遇上了充滿教育熱誠的老師；也參加了許多饒富意義
的活動，讓我的成長更全面。在母校的六個寒暑裡，恩師們總是鼓勵我
參加形形色色的活動— 海外交流團、名師高徒計劃、聯合國青年使
者計劃……活動不勝枚舉。過程中我接觸到更多優秀的人，互相砥礪，
增強了個人技能，同時磨練了自己的心智，讓我的世界變得更廣闊。在
青年會書院中我體驗了多采多姿的生活，並從中找到人生路向，篤行不
倦，創造出自己獨特而美妙的人生。
At Chinese YMCA College, I met teachers who were passionate about
education. I have also participated in many meaningful activities that
have helped me grow in a holistic way. During my six years at my alma
mater, my teachers have always encouraged me to participate in all
kinds of activities including overseas exchange trips, the ‘Distinguished
Master, Accomplished Students’ Mentorship Programme and UNICEF
Young Envoys Programme, etc. I have met many talented wonderful
people throughout the years who helped me strengthen my personal
skills, sharpen my mind and broaden my world. I have experienced a rich
and colourful secondary school life and have found my way to create a
unique and wonderful life.
