MR. MAN, GORDON

Mr. Man, Gordon

Greetings boys and girls. I’m Mr. Man, Gordon. I teach
English and GS. I’m also the class teacher for 3A this year. I’m
a very friendly and talkative person so if you see me at school
or elsewhere feel free to say hi!
I have been in SFA since 2020 and I’m very glad to be
a part of this big family. I was born in Canada so if you have
anything you want to ask about Canada I’m all up for it. My
hobbies are badminton and travelling. To follow my dream,
I moved to Japan for 3 years after graduating university to
further explore the world. In Japan, I was also an elementary
English teacher and it was what got me started in education. I
don’t know how many times I have said this but “YES, I know
how to speak a little bit of Japanese”. I love the culture and
friendly atmosphere in Japan and it was the best three years of
my life. I travelled around Japan for the later part of my trip and
visited many shrines. Hence this photo of me was also taken
in Japan at a shrine. Therefore, if you have anything to share
about Japan, I’ll be very happy if you can drop by and share
them with me.

Students in SFA are very well-mannered and lovely. I
especially enjoyed my time when students were sharing their
hobbies and toys in our OLE lessons. Many students shared
GORDON I couldn’t help but ended up sharing many of my figures also.
