At Home, We Love

數天前，我與爸媽觀看新聞短片時，看到一位主管醫生在醫院的員工大會上泣不成聲，這
一幕深深印在我的腦海中；可以想像得到嚴峻的疫情帶給所有醫護人員無比的壓力。
新冠肺炎在香港肆虐已經兩年了，我們可以平安在家抗
疫，就全靠那些在前線冒着生命危險，盡力照顧每一個病人
的醫護人員。於是，爸媽提議我向香港的醫護人員致敬，我聽後便毫不考慮拿起畫紙與媽媽
一同創作心意卡，媽媽還教我用手工紙製作立體花。我們一同將花貼在卡上，我還在心意卡
上親手寫下感激的字句，我心中更默默許下承諾：在抗疫期間，我會乖乖留在家中，做好一
切抗疫工作，每天為醫護人員打氣，在疫情未受控前不會胡鬧嚷着要外出，以免增添他們的
負擔。
其後，我問爸爸如何可以把這張卡送給醫護人員，爸爸幫我搜尋伊
利沙伯醫院 我出生的醫院的電郵地址，我便把這張卡拍照後電郵給
他們，將我這個微不足道的心意傳送給他們。
我希望每個小朋友都可以像愛自己的家人一樣，關心及愛護我們的
醫護人員，愛我們的家 香港。

Donna is my nanny. She became my family member when I was still inside my mom’s belly. Donna
is a Filipino who has a pair of big eyes and a soft voice. She likes playing volleyball and goes to church
every Sunday.
It was because of COVID-19, Donna was forced to stay in HK in the last few years. I felt so sad that
she couldn’t go back to the Philippines to meet her family. She only used video calls or Zoom to see her
son and daughters. I can feel that Donna loves her family very much even though there is a long distance
between Hong Kong and the Philippines.
My mom has been very busy recently as she needs to work in Mobile Cabin Hospital. Sometimes
she needs to work more than ten hours a day without any break. Her skin turns dark because of working
under the sun for long hours. My mom always teaches me Donna is sent by God to take care of me every
day. She plays Roblox with me. She takes care of me when my parents are busy. I want to thank her for
her love.
Meanwhile I miss our SFA, our teachers and all my classmates. I don’t want to be friends with COVID-19.
I hope Omicron will go away very soon. I believe those old days will come back very soon, too.
