My name is Julina Marie C. Yeung. I am ten years old. I was born on 18 November, 2010 in the
Philippines. We have five members in our family. I have my mother, father and two sisters.
When I was a baby, I was chubby because I ate a lot of food. I was cute too. People wanted to hug me. I was naughty all
the time. My sister said I drew on her book with my pens when I was a baby.
Now I study at Po On Commercial Association Wan Ho Kan Primary School. My favourite teacher is Miss Lee because
she is kind and funny. But she left the school so I miss her a lot. My favourite subject is Visual Arts because it is fun and
interesting. I enjoy doing crafts very much.
After school, I have drawing class. I enjoy drawing and painting. It helps me improve my drawing skills.
When I started primary school, I was weak in Chinese. I got low marks in my Chinese exam because I didn’t understand
some Chinese words and it was difficult. But I tried my best to study hard and my results have become better now.

After primary school, I want to go to a Po Leung Kuk school because I want to get into a good secondary school. I want to
be an artist when I grow up. If I become an artist, I will draw for people and earn some money.

Self-introduction
Good morning, teachers. My name is Kara and I study at Po On Commercial Association Wan Ho Kan
Primary School.
I like singing and reading. My favourite books are ‘Matilda’ and ‘James and the Giant Peach’ by Roald Dahl. My favourite
subject is Maths because it is interesting. I was one of the Top 3 Students in this subject and won an award.
I also contribute to my school by being a school prefect. I make sure my schoolmates behave well during recess.
I also join many competitions. In March 2021, I joined the Posties Speech Competition held by SCMP. I was awarded the
Bronze award in this competition. Besides, I also joined the Maths Olympiad Team and joined the Maths Competition in
2021. I didn’t get any awards but I am happy with my results.
I am understanding and helpful. When my classmates ask for help, I always reach out to help them as much as I can.
My strengths are calculation and learning languages.
When I grow up, I want to be a social worker. If I become a social worker, I will help people solve their problems.
If I become a student at your school, I am confident that I will work hard and respect my classmates and teachers. Thank
