P3 English Choral Speaking

This is the fi rst year that our school has taken part in Harmonic Speaking, so one Saturday
in December Ms. Lam and Mr. Stringer took the P3 group to Kowloon Tong to see how
they could do.
The week before the competition, they found out that there were 6 schools, so they
felt they had a chance, but one of those schools was DGS, a school with an excellent
reputation.
So, they went, they took part. Soon after that, it was time for the judge to read out the
winners. She read who came third, not YYPS or DGS. She said who came second, not
YYPS or DGS.
Many of the students looked sad, they had not come first or second and they did not
believe that they could beat DGS in the first year that we have done this competition.
The judge spoke. And the winner is "YYPS" and a HUGE cheer went up from ev eryone.
Everyone at YYPS that is.
