Commencement Week

Students are so excited and cannot wait to get their “You Shine” stamps.

in the activity to learn our core
values.
During the commencement week, students were highly engaged
and participated in U.S.S.R., trainings of school routine, class
climate building activities, the kick-off ceremony of the Firefly
Scheme and the inauguration of school prefects. It was an
excellent start of all good habits in their campus life.

Character Building is one of the main focuses for student growth. encouragement to them.
We held assemblies to introduce our core values, namely
“Care”, “Respect”, “Integrity”, “Responsibility”, “Commitment”
and “Perseverance”, through games and sharing. Laughter
could be heard and various interactions between students and
teachers could be found in different corners. The highlight of
64 each assembly was that students may taste failures during
the games and learn under these authentic environments.
The sharing among their own groups, which reflect their own
understanding of how these values and actions can be carried
out in their daily lives, was the best part of all.
Students work and complete the task together.

It was the first time for the P.4 “Challenge Yourself!” camp
to be held in our commencement week. It was also the first
time for most of the P.4 students to stay overnight outside
home without their parents. Students went to the camp
W F Joseph Lee Primary School
with excitement and an expectant heart. They established
a positive relationship with each other and built up a good
rapport via team building games and living together. All
students and teachers had a memorable experience.
