Foreword from School Supervisor

Dear fellow students, teachers and parents, Foreword from School Supervisor

The motto of “Harmony brings a family prosperity, Cohesion makes a nation
wealthy”, which bears the meaning of “人和家富 民和國富” in Chinese, serves
to give the society a clear message –
“Please well treat the people you know or even those you don’t know. Bring
harmony to members of your own families, your friends, your neighbours and
all citizens in the region, the country and the world we belong so that harmony
and cohesiveness will be with them always”.

I am much privileged to write the Foreword for all the readers of “Harmony” 3
                                 – the yearbook we introduced to WFJLPS a year ago. “Harmony” is a living
journal that reflects the events and lives of WFJLPS students during this
school year. Hope you all like how we celebrate what children of this school
have done in 2019-2020. 2019-2020 Harmony

Although there have been a lot of challenges since the start of 2019-2020,
like the social movement happened in 2019 and the spread of COVID-19
pandemic since January 2020 causing class suspension for several months,
our students still underwent a fruitful learning journey with great fun and
love. We have indeed actualised the practice of “Suspending Classes but not
                                 Suspending Learning”.

The theme for this year is “Appreciation”. I would like you all to show your
greatest appreciation to what you have experienced this year, to all the people
you know, to all the things you have done and to all tiny little things that God
                                 has created. Be grateful always!

                                                                                         Dr. Joseph Lee
                                                                                           August 2020
