余婧姍老師
Hiya~ I’m Sammy YU, the
new English teacher.
As a lover of languages, I
majored in English and obtained
Master degree from HKU and
PGDE from The Education
University of Hong Kong. The
variations of different languages
never cease to amaze me.
That said, I know how hard
it can be to learn English. There
are always so many rules to learn
and memorize. Yet, when you
feel ready to use them, there are
exceptions to the rules. The same
thing happens to me all the time
when I speak Cantonese.
As your English teacher, I’m
here to teach you not to trick you;
to help you not to humiliate you.
As a language learner myself,
I’m here to share some interesting and personal stories with you to increase your
interest in learning and encourage you to try.
I hope we can develop a good relationship and explore the fascinating world
of English together.

MR. JONES,
DOMINIC GORDON

Dear, students.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to
new and returning students. As Ho Ngai’s
new English teaching assistant, I would
like to formally introduce myself. My name
is Dom Jones and I am from Worcester,
UK. I received a Bachelor’s degree in
sport science from Liverpool John Moores
university in 2017. My duties at Ho Ngai will
go beyond helping out in the classroom.
During recess, lunchtime, and afterschool
I will be providing and creating English
activities for you to get involved with. I look
forward to working with you all during the
academic year!
