S.1 LAC Science Project
Energy converters with Littlebits

Students worked in teams to design new inventions – energy converters that
can help solve some particular problems in daily life. For example, we made a
door bell for the deaf.

Step 1: IT STARTS WITH POWER
Start any circuit with a blue Power module, powered by a battery
or AC adapter

Modules snap together with magnets
CONTROL WITH AN INPUT

Pink Input modules include buttons, switches, and sensors to
interpret their surroundings.
STEP 4: ADD AN OUTPUT
Green modules are outputs and add motion, light, sound, and more to your circuit.

branch out or add powerful connectivity to
your creations
Students delivered the presentation to
describe the design of their inventions and
illustrate how the bits work together in their
