Acknowledgements

Yearbook 2017-8

This year we chose the theme ‘Community through Diversity’ for
the yearbook as a way of acknowledging that our school community
is rich and diverse, shaped by many cultures, perspectives and
experiences. The Yearbook Committee is no exception to this, a
diverse group of age ranges and experiences makes up the yearbook
and photography team. Collectively our team has taken photos,
compiled images, chased up pages, written paragraphs, selected
photos and a myriad of other tasks that go into making the
yearbook what it is. I’m thankful to our student committee for their
hard work. I hope in the coming year, to engage them more fully
in the work of being responsible for the shape, theme and content
of the yearbook as editors, writers and designers. With that in
mind, I look forward to announcing our Chief Editors in the coming term. Please stay tuned and join us in
September if you are interested in getting involved.

I’m also very grateful to our Subcommittee of teachers who have compiled all of the materials from the
staff and assisted with editing and selection of photographs as well. Thank you for your efforts and hard
work. (Ms Asma Ali, Dr Manju Aravind, Ms Sara Bailey, Ms Ophelia Bou, Ms Anita Tsang, Ms Helen Zhang)

Thanks must go to our office staff, in particular Esther, who have helped with a number of administrative
tasks for the yearbook. Lastly, thank you to the School Management who have given contributions and
lent their support throughout this year. Honorable mention must also go to Ms Pearson for her assistance
with editing the yearbook.
