Orchestra

This is the third year since we established the current rendition of our
YYPS Symphonic Orchestra. Consisting 59 official members and 6 pre-
team members, the YYPS Symphony Orchestra pursue excellence in music-
making and performance in regular sectional and full-ensemble rehearsals
every week. With persistence and diligence, our orchestra members work
extremely hard to improve their coordination, musical sensitivity and awareness
as an ensemble.

We are also proud to announce that we have expanded our coaching team
once again. In addition to our maestro, Mr. Slash Leung, and our winds and
strings coaches, Mr. Kyan Wong and Mr. Tam Wing Kin, we welcome Mr.
Chronicle Li as the new instructor for our percussion section. The orchestra
will not be able to progress readily without their leadership and guidance.

Tonight, the YYPS Symphony Orchestra will be performing Palladio
and Phantom of the Opera; both pieces arranged by Mr. Slash
Leung. Sit back and enjoy their performance!
