STEM Workshops and tours coordinated by MIT

Alumnus Dr. Uri Feldman (Including Real rocket
science by B6-4 engine, 3D Printing, renewable

energy and sustainable and clean tech projects)

In the summer of 2017, I was so honorable
to join the school study tour to U.S.A. We
participated in a “STEM” course, which
held in colleges in Boston. Throughout this
journey, I learned many “new “things that
inspired me so much.

Firstly, I learned how to make a model rocket,
which could be launched from the ground
and “flied” in the sky. Secondly, I found a lot
of talents in my students. They could speak
English well and communicate with teachers
effectively. They had high potentials in
different areas of Science and Technology.

For the rockets, this is my first time
to build a rocket which power by real
gunpowder that we will never have
chance to try in Hong Kong. During
making the rockets, we realized
the importance of accuracy and
patience that we need to measure
a lot of things, like the length of
Fins. We need to be very serious on
it to make sure all measurements
are precise. We feel so excited after
launching the rocket successfully.
