As it is our first year in secondary school, it was strange coming to school with a secondary uniform, and to see our classmates
in similar attire. We all enjoy our new school life. We have been given a lot more to focus on in terms of work, and our
expectations have been set much higher than before.
We have become more independant, and have learned that we can’t always rely on our parents, like when we went to Wong Yi
Chau camp. We had to do everything by ourselves, such as making our beds, making our lunches, cleaning and drying the dishes,
waking up by ourselves etc. It showed us that we needed to be more responsible and that we can’t always rely on others to do
           things for us.
We also learned that sometimes, we had to work as a team to accomplish things, like when we needed to brainstorm ideas for
the Christmas carnival. We originally did a bottle flip, but then had to resort to beanbag in the box because there were too many
classes doing the bottle flip. This taught us that sometimes, working as a team is better than working alone.
We were also smacked in the face with one thing that all of us dreaded: time management. We had to organise what we had to
do in terms of homework, and that sometimes lead us to forget things, miss deadlines and even have to do everything the night
before in terms of a project. This taught us that we need to be careful with is our time, and that we had to use it wisely.
And that summarizes what we have experienced this year.
